Ingredients
All NHV supplements are made with the finest quality organic or ethically harvested herbs. We use non-GMO vegetable glycerin as our base. NHV products are full-spectrum extracts.

Dosage
For ferrets: 0.5ml twice a day
For rabbits and guinea pigs: 0.5 ml twice a day
For hamsters and mice: 1 drop per two pounds twice a day
How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provide and places the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth.
Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favourite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.

Herbal dietary supplements are beneficial to the health and wellbeing of your pet and are safe for long-term use. Every pet responds to natural herbal supplements differently, therefore it is important to be consistent and administer the product daily. Supplements generally take two to four weeks to take effect, however this will vary from one animal to the next.
Product Storage
All NHV Natural Pet Products are pure herbal extracts and contain no artificial additives, preservatives or coloring. Shelf life after opening is 6 months and must be refrigerated after opening.
Cautions and Contraindications: Do not use Turmeric in pregnant or nursing animals. Speak to your vet before using our products. A second visit is recommended if your pet’s condition does not improve, or deteriorates after continued use of the supplements.

Is turmeric safe for rats?
Turmeric is safe for rats at the correct dosage. Do not try to guess a dosage for your pet rat. NHV Turmeric can be given to rats at 1 drop per two pounds twice a day.
Do pet rats need supplements?
According to holistic vets, natural pet supplements for rats may be helpful in different situations. For example, if they are not getting enough antioxidants through their diet, they can use a natural pet supplement that contains one, such as turmeric.
What supplements should I give my hamster?
Hamsters are susceptible to many diseases, including cancerous tumors. Alongside conventional treatment, NHV holistic vets recommend turmeric as a complementary supplement because it can help ease some of their symptoms, like discomfort or inflammation.
How do I know if my rat is in pain?
Like many smaller animals, rats tend to hide signs of pain, but there are a few signs to look out for like changes in behavior, decreased interest in food and water, over or under-grooming, limping, lethargy, avoiding being handled, and other changes from their normal behavior.

Please note that supplements are not intended to treat disease or ailments and are meant to support the body.
We will happily credit your account for any sealed items. Please note that opened/ used items are not eligible for a refund.
NOTE: International orders, outside of USA and Canada, are not covered in the return policy and are therefore nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
Details of refund for sealed items:
- The full purchase price (minus shipping costs and 15% restocking) when your product arrives at our warehouse.
- We do not issue refunds for products that are not returned or products returned after 60 days from the purchase date.
- Shipping charges are also non-refundable. Please note that we offer free shipping on orders over $100; if a product is being returned, this does not apply and a $14.99 shipping fee will be deducted.
- Any requests for refund/replacement of damaged, defective or incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the product and supported with a photo of the damaged or incorrect product as well as shipping box or refund/replacement will not be issued.

For a full refund (excluding shipping and restocking fees), please complete the following within 60 days of the date of purchase.
- Obtain your authorization number and note this number on your invoice and on the outside of the shipping box.
- Return the product within 14 days of the issuance of your Return Authorization number.
- Mail all sealed products with a copy of the invoice.
