The Causes of Hyperthyroidism
Hyperthyroidism in cats is caused by excess production of thyroid hormones (T3 and T4). One of the most common causes of feline hyperthyroidism is a hormone-producing benign tumor. Most cases of cats with hyperthyroidism are older pets (generally over 10 years of age).

Ingredients
Eleuthero – Helps to balance the thyroid, stimulates the immune system, and helps to improve resistance to stress.
Bugleweed – Helps to reduce thyroid hormones in the body. It also slows and strengthens heart contractions. Relieves tension and irritability, and acts as a cough suppressant.
Lemon Balm – Inhibits thyroid activity by blocking thyroid-stimulating hormones. Also found to reduce stress, decrease blood pressure, and improve gastrointestinal activity.
Gotu Kola – A small green herb known for its cleansing abilities and used to treat skin problems. It also has strong antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Hawthorn – Helps strengthen and improve heart function.
Skullcap – Known for its relaxing and detoxifying qualities, as well as its ability to stimulate kidney function.
Valerian – Well known for its use in the treatment of anxiety, and has been used extensively as a mild sedative and pain reliever.
Dosage
To be taken twice daily. Determine your pet’s weight and then use the easy chart below to determine the correct dose. This is the minimum dosage.
Pet's Weight Dosage
0 - 15 lb = 0.5 ml
16 - 30 lb = 1.0 ml
31 - 45 lb = 1.5 ml
46 - 60 lb = 2.0 ml
61 - 75 lb = 2.5 ml
Over 75 lb = 3.0 ml
How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provided and place the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth.
Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favourite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.
For Best Results
Herbal dietary supplements are beneficial to the health and well-being of your pet and are safe for long-term use. Every pet responds to natural herbal supplements differently, therefore it is important to be consistent and administer the product daily. Supplements generally take two to four weeks to take effect, however this will vary from one animal to the next.
Product Storage
All NHV Natural Pet Products are pure herbal extracts and contain no artificial additives, preservatives or coloring. Shelf life after opening is 6 months and must be refrigerated after opening.
Cautions and Contraindications
Do not use Resthyro™ in pregnant or nursing animals. Should not be used in animals with hypothyroidism (under active thyroid gland). Speak to your vet before using our products. A second visit is recommended if your pet’s condition does not improve, or deteriorates after continued use of the supplements.

Please note that supplements are not intended to treat disease or ailments and are meant to support the body.
We will happily credit your account for any sealed items. Please note that opened/ used items are not eligible for a refund.
NOTE: International orders, outside of USA and Canada, are not covered in the return policy and are therefore nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
Details of refund for sealed items:
- The full purchase price (minus shipping costs and 15% restocking) when your product arrives at our warehouse.
- We do not issue refunds for products that are not returned or products returned after 60 days from the purchase date.
- Shipping charges are also non-refundable. Please note that we offer free shipping on orders over $100; if a product is being returned, this does not apply and a $14.99 shipping fee will be deducted.
- Any requests for refund/replacement of damaged, defective or incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the product and supported with a photo of the damaged or incorrect product as well as shipping box or refund/replacement will not be issued.

For a full refund (excluding shipping and restocking fees), please complete the following within 60 days of the date of purchase.
- Obtain your authorization number and note this number on your invoice and on the outside of the shipping box.
- Return the product within 14 days of the issuance of your Return Authorization number.
- Mail all sealed products with a copy of the invoice.
