What Is A Hot Spot?

Causes of Hot Spots on Cats
A few factors can cause hot spots in our feline friends, like food sensitivities, allergens in the environment, biting insects, and infections. Kitties with longer coats may be more susceptible to hot spots, especially when the weather is humid (like in the summer months). In most cases, hot spots are caused by allergies to the environment or something in their diet. Cat skin allergies most often develop on their paws, face, ears, front legs, and belly, but itchiness all over the body is common as well.

- Oregon Grape—Beneficial for stimulating the immune system, relaxing the body and fighting bacterial and fungal infections
- Rosemary—Rich in volatile oils, flavonoids and phenolic acids, which contain effective antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties; antioxidants in rosemary fight against free radicals that can damage hair follicles and encourage hair regrowth
- Tea Tree oil—Especially useful in treating parasite bites, infected wounds and minor cuts; contains antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and germicidal properties
Dosage
How to Administer
Topical Spray: Spray several times a day to affected area(s) until healed. It may sometimes be necessary to shave or trim your pet’s hair so that the Ouch Away Spray reaches the affected area. If necessary, cover the affected area with gauze dressing.
Caution
Do not spray near or into eyes or nose. May initially sting on open cut. A vet examination prior to use of this product is recommended. If your pet’s condition does not improve or deteriorates consult your vet and stop the use of the product.

We will happily credit your account for any sealed items. Please note that opened/ used items are not eligible for a refund.
NOTE: International orders, outside of USA and Canada, are not covered in the return policy and are therefore nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
Details of refund for sealed items:
- The full purchase price (minus shipping costs and 15% restocking) when your product arrives at our warehouse.
- We do not issue refunds for products that are not returned or products returned after 60 days from the purchase date.
- Shipping charges are also non-refundable. Please note that we offer free shipping on orders over $100; if a product is being returned, this does not apply and a $14.99 shipping fee will be deducted.
- Any requests for refund/replacement of damaged, defective or incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the product and supported with a photo of the damaged or incorrect product as well as shipping box or refund/replacement will not be issued.

For a full refund (excluding shipping and restocking fees), please complete the following within 60 days of the date of purchase.
- Obtain your authorization number and note this number on your invoice and on the outside of the shipping box.
- Return the product within 14 days of the issuance of your Return Authorization number.
- Mail all sealed products with a copy of the invoice.
