Alge-Ex
- Echinacea Angustifolia contains a range of healing compounds with immune-balancing and infection fighting properties.
- Eyebright has a long history of use for supporting eye issues, allergies, sore throats and respiratory tract issues.
- Feverfew contains discomfort relieving properties and pro-inflammatory cytokines that help to enhance immune response and help regulate histamine formation.
- Ginger has a long history of use for helping to alleviate nausea and digestive upset.
- Sweet Goldenrod helps to decrease the amount of mucus and inflammation in bronchial tubes and help flush out toxins and bacteria from the body.
Ouch Away Spray
- Aloe Vera has been used externally for soothing burns, sores and other minor injuries. It contains healing properties to help relieve discomfort and encourage skin growth.
- Calendula has been used traditionally for wounds, dermatitis, flea bites, poison ivy, eczema and burns.
- Chamomile is rich in flavonoid, volatile oils and lactones which help to encourage the healing of inflamed skin.
- Lavender oil is helpful for improving blood flow and circulation to encourage wound healing. It also contains properties that help repel insects and help reduce discomfort.
- Lemongrass oil contains the essential oils citral and geraniol which are effective insect and mite repellents.
- Oregon Grape contains isoquinoline compounds which are known to have infection fighting and immune-stimulating properties.
- Rosemary is rich with antioxidant properties that help to repair hair follicles and encourage fur re-growth.
- Tea Tree oil contains disinfectant properties often used for soothing cuts, minor wounds and insect bites.
Dosage
ALGE EX DOSAGE : To be taken twice daily. Determine your pet’s weight and then use the easy chart below to determine the correct dose. This is the minimum dosage.
Pet's Weight Dosage
0 - 15 lb = 0.5 ml
16 - 30 lb = 1.0 ml
31 - 45 lb = 1.5 ml
46 - 60 lb = 2.0 ml
61 - 75 lb = 2.5 ml
Over 75 lb = 3.0 ml
For small animals (rabbits, ferrets), avians and reptiles use 1 drop for every 2 lb of body weight.
How to Administer
Shake well before use.The easiest method is to use the dropper provided and place the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth. Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favourite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.
For Best Results
Herbal dietary supplements are beneficial to the health and well-being of your pet and are safe for long-term use. Every pet responds to natural herbal supplements differently, therefore it is important to be consistent and administer the product daily. Supplements generally take two to four weeks to take effect, however this will vary from one animal to the next.
Product Storage
All NHV Natural Pet Products are pure herbal extracts and contain no artificial additives, preservatives or coloring. Shelf life after opening is 6 months and must be refrigerated after opening.

Do not use in pregnant or nursing animals.

How to Administer
Topical Spray: Spray several times a day to affected area until healed. It may some times be necessary to shave or trim your pet’s hair so that the Ouch Away spray reaches the affected area. If necessary, cover the affected area with gauze dressing.
Caution
Do not spray near or into eyes or nose. May initially sting on open cut. A vet examination prior to use of this product is recommended. If your pet’s condition does not improve or deteriorates consult your vet and stop the use of the product.

Please note that supplements are not intended to treat disease or ailments and are meant to support the body.
We will happily credit your account for any sealed items. Please note that opened/ used items are not eligible for a refund.
NOTE: International orders, outside of USA and Canada, are not covered in the return policy and are therefore nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
Details of refund for sealed items:
- The full purchase price (minus shipping costs and 15% restocking) when your product arrives at our warehouse.
- We do not issue refunds for products that are not returned or products returned after 60 days from the purchase date.
- Shipping charges are also non-refundable. Please note that we offer free shipping on orders over $100; if a product is being returned, this does not apply and a $14.99 shipping fee will be deducted.
- Any requests for refund/replacement of damaged, defective or incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the product and supported with a photo of the damaged or incorrect product as well as shipping box or refund/replacement will not be issued.

For a full refund (excluding shipping and restocking fees), please complete the following within 60 days of the date of purchase.
- Obtain your authorization number and note this number on your invoice and on the outside of the shipping box.
- Return the product within 14 days of the issuance of your Return Authorization number.
- Mail all sealed products with a copy of the invoice.
