Ingredients like chamomile and lemon balm can help calm excitability, nervousness and relieve discomfort. The sedative properties in Matricalm help to expel intestinal gas and help lower blood pressure to support feelings of calmness. Herbs like passion flower promote feelings of relaxation by increasing levels of gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain, while valerian helps to improve sleep latency and sleep quality. Hops adds diuretic and sedative support to help relieve sleep disturbances and improve mood.

Matricalm
- Chamomile is a calming herb with gentle sedative properties that help to reduce anxiety and nervousness.
- Hops is a diuretic and sedative herb that may help to stimulate digestion. It is helpful for anxiety and easing tension.
- Lemon Balm is an aromatic herb that has been used for centuries to calm nervousness, excitability, and anxious behavior.
- Passion Flower is a gentle herb that encourages feelings of relaxation because it may increase the levels of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) in the brain.
- Valerian is an herb that helps prevent heart palpitations, helps relax spasms, and helps to regulate the nervous system.
Dosage
For birds: 1 drop per two pounds twice a day
How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provide and place the drops into your bird's favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the bird’s mouth.
For Best Results
Herbal dietary supplements are beneficial to the health and wellbeing of your pet and are safe for long-term use. Every pet responds to natural herbal supplements differently, therefore it is important to be consistent and administer the product daily. Supplements generally take two to four weeks to take effect, however this will vary from one animal to the next.
Product Storage
All NHV Natural Pet Products are pure herbal extracts and contain no artificial additives, preservatives or coloring. Shelf life after opening is 6 months and must be refrigerated after opening.
Cautions and Contraindications
Do not use Matricalm in pregnant or nursing animals. Speak to your vet before using our products. A second visit is recommended if your pet’s condition does not improve, or deteriorates after continued use of the supplements.

As our products are natural herbal remedies, they take time to make a difference in your pet’s health. Herbal supplements are meant to support and help the body function better, and being pure plant extracts, they need time to make a difference. Please note that supplements are not intended to treat disease or ailments and are meant to support the body.
We will happily credit your account for any sealed items. Please note that opened/ used items are not eligible for a refund.
NOTE: International orders, outside of USA and Canada, are not covered in the return policy and are therefore nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
Details of refund for sealed items:
- The full purchase price (minus shipping costs and 15% restocking) when your product arrives at our warehouse.
- We do not issue refunds for products that are not returned or products returned after 60 days from the purchase date.
- Shipping charges are also non-refundable. Please note that we offer free shipping on orders over $100; if a product is being returned, this does not apply and a $14.99 shipping fee will be deducted.
- Any requests for refund/replacement of damaged, defective or incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the product and supported with a photo of the damaged or incorrect product as well as shipping box or refund/replacement will not be issued.

For a full refund (excluding shipping and restocking fees), please complete the following within 60 days of the date of purchase.
- Obtain your authorization number and note this number on your invoice and on the outside of the shipping box.
- Return the product within 14 days of the issuance of your Return Authorization number.
- Mail all sealed products with a copy of the invoice.
