Long-haired bunnies like Angoras and Jersey Woollys are more likely to develop hairballs than their short-haired bunny cousins; however, all rabbits can develop them. Bunnies require a lot of indigestible fiber to keep things moving along, so if their diet is out of balance, they may develop rabbit gastric stasis. Signs to look out for if your pet is suffering from rabbit gastric stasis:
- Rabbits will eat less over the course of a few days or weeks and may eventually stop eating completely.
- Droppings may become smaller, then completely stop.
- Affected rabbits may be bright and alert for many days after they stop eating.
- Rabbits may refuse to eat pellets but may chew the paper on the bottom of the cage, wood in the home, or wallboard — all sources of the fiber they are craving.
- Some rabbits have soft, squishy stools prior to a complete loss of appetite.
- As the condition progresses with further dehydration of the contents in their digestive tract and eventual shutdown of the GI tract, a rabbit is likely to become more lethargic, depressed, and may eventually die.

- Cascara Sagrada is widely used in veterinary medicine as a gentle digestive aid to help increase bile flow (which helps expel hairballs).
- Chinese Rhubarb may help the body eliminate wastes and increase the water content of stools.
- Ginger has been used for centuries for its discomfort-relieving properties. It also may help to improve the movement of matter through the GI tract.
- Licorice has a long history of use for supporting the digestive, respiratory, and endocrine systems with its anti-inflammatory and infection-fighting properties.
- Lobelia helps to relieve bowel spasms and improve oxygenation of blood.
- Oregon Grape contains anti-inflammatory properties that aid with elimination, improving digestion as well as improving bile flow (which helps expel hairballs).
- Raspberry is beneficial for helping to reduce digestive upset and inflammation in the GI tract.
Dosage
For rabbits: 0.5ml twice daily.
How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provide and places the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth.
Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as mashed banana, strawberry or another favorite treat.
For Best Results
Herbal dietary supplements are beneficial to the health and well-being of your pet and are safe for long-term use. Every pet responds to natural herbal supplements differently, therefore it is important to be consistent and administer the product daily. Supplements generally take two to four weeks to take effect, however this will vary from one animal to the next.
Product Storage
All NHV Natural Pet Products are pure herbal extracts and contain no artificial additives, preservatives or coloring. Shelf life after opening is 6 months and must be refrigerated after opening.
Cautions and Contraindications
Do not use Hairb-EZ in pregnant or nursing animals. Speak to your vet before using our products. A second visit is recommended if your pet’s condition does not improve, or deteriorates after continued use of the supplements.

NOTE: International orders, outside of USA and Canada, are not covered in the return policy and are therefore nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
Details of refund for sealed items:
- The full purchase price (minus shipping costs and 15% restocking) when your product arrives at our warehouse.
- We do not issue refunds for products that are not returned or products returned after 60 days from the purchase date.
- Shipping charges are also non-refundable. Please note that we offer free shipping on orders over $100; if a product is being returned, this does not apply and a $14.99 shipping fee will be deducted.
- Any requests for refund/replacement of damaged, defective or incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the product and supported with a photo of the damaged or incorrect product as well as shipping box or refund/replacement will not be issued.

For a full refund (excluding shipping and restocking fees), please complete the following within 60 days of the date of purchase.
- Obtain your authorization number and note this number on your invoice and on the outside of the shipping box.
