How to Measure Your Dog for the Perfect Fit
To ensure your pup is comfortable and the sweater sits correctly, use a soft measuring tape and follow these three steps:
- Length: Measure from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail.
- Chest: Measure the widest part of your dog’s ribcage, typically right behind the front legs. This is the most important measurement.
- Neck: Measure the circumference of the neck where a collar would naturally rest.

Yes! This sweater is designed for hassle-free care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, then lay flat to dry. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and ironing to keep the squirrel pattern bright and the knit soft.
Will the acrylic knit be itchy or scratchy?
Not at all! The 100% acrylic knit is woven with super-soft core-spun yarn that feels like a warm hug—no scratchy wool sensation. It’s gentle enough for everyday wear, even for pups with sensitive skin.
How does the leash hole work?
The built-in leash hole is a reinforced opening on the back of the sweater, strategically placed so you can clip your leash directly onto a harness or collar worn underneath. No need to remove the sweater for walkies.
Is this a pullover or a turtleneck?
The Squirrel Dog Sweater is an easy-to-wear pullover style—slip it right over your pup’s head, no buttons or zippers required. The neckline is a comfortable, snug fit without the high collar of a true turtleneck.
Shipping & Returns
All apparel and accessories sold in our Vancouver Boutique and on our website are curated with love. We carefully select brands that value natural materials, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Because of that, we are confident that you will be satisfied with the quality of everything we carry.
However, if something is not exactly what you were looking for, we are more than happy to accept returns within 14 days of delivery date, as long as the items are in their original condition, unused, and with tags still attached.
Due to health and safety concerns, we are unable to accept returns of blankets, toys, or individual poop bag rolls.
Please note:
- We do not issue refunds for products that are not returned or products returned after 14 days from the delivery date.
- Shipping charges are also non-refundable. Please note that we offer free shipping on orders over $100; if a product is being returned, this does not apply and a $14.99 shipping fee will be deducted.
- Any requests for refund/replacement of damaged, defective or incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the product and supported with a photo of the damaged or incorrect product as well as shipping box or refund/replacement will not be issued.

For a full refund (excluding shipping and restocking fees), please complete the following within 14 days of the date of purchase for apparel:
- Obtain your authorization number and note this number on your invoice and on the outside of the shipping box.
- Return the product within 14 days of the issuance of your Return Authorization number.
- Mail all sealed products with a copy of the invoice.
- Items on sale or promotion are considered final sale.
